Flash

I love working in Flash.  I enjoy the challenge and just thinking about what to do next. Working with codes can be a little stressful at times, but it pays off in the end. This class lets you have the chance to be creative, and overall, it is an awesome class.

Useful Link

http://www.entheosweb.com/Flash/default.asp

I couldn't find a link on another person's blog. This link is a site that has many Flash tutorials and helpful advice on it.  It is helpful because of all the advice on it.  I suggest it to anyone trying to use flash.

Visual Storytelling

My partner, Shannon, and I are visual storytelling through our scenes by telling about game in each scene.  Each scene tells a little more about our game:  what is learned from the game, the look of the game, etc.  Climate control has an excellent storyline.   It has many different scenarios to challenge you.  Another narrative game that influenced our game is Mario.  We set the game play and scenes like Mario, but we have a completely original storyline.

New Idea

A new idea I've learned in this class is the different types of technologies,  educational and informative.  Educational technology is used in school.  Informative technology is technology used outside of school to help inform you.  My partner Shannon and I found this information on Wikipedia when researching out topic.

Paper Prototyping

This assignment has helped me layout my game more clearly.  Actually getting to see it drawn out and the scenes was pretty awesome.  I had to change my idea of the game from a continuous level to a set screen level.

Research topic

We're supposed to introduce ourselves; so I'm Codie, and I'm a senior at Hurricane High. I reseached media to find out different devices to use for our game about Bernie, a student who is late for media class and needs to collect his supplies.  The links helped pick out what technology a media class uses.
